Her journey into the entertainment industry began at a young age, reflecting her innate talent and love for the art.She had her basic education in Edo state before moving to Lagos to pursue a career in Music.

Madrina found the passion for music form a very young age and wrote her first song when she was just 7 years. By the time she turned 17, she recorded her first song "Dutty Stepping." In 2008, she relocated to Lagos to pursue her music career.In 2013 she was discovered by Northside Entertainment Inc. and was signed to the record label marking the beginning of her professional music career.
In 2014 she released her hit songs "Don't break my heart" and "Lead Me On," which gained massive plays and got nominated for "Best Reggae/Dancehall Single" at The Headies 2014.
However, her career did not blossom at expected by many. After a while, some time in 2016 she had a major fallout with her record label and stopped releasing songs.
In 2020 through her Instagram live Madrina revealed that she had been battling with depression because she lost her stage name, VEVO account, royalties, Instagram account, and more due to her contract with her record label owned by Jude Okeye after the fallout.
She returned to the music industry as a song writer and took on a new name Madrina.
